Live does not appear under installed programs (Windows)

On Windows computers, Ableton Live installs by default on a per-user basis.

This means that on Windows machines, the Live application will only appear in the Start Menu's list of programs for the same user account where Live was installed.

To use Ableton Live with multiple user accounts on the same Windows computer, please follow Step 8 in the article Authorizing Live for all users on Windows (without Sassafras).

In some cases, the Live application does not appear in the Windows Start Menu after installation.

If you can't find Live in the list of installed programs, navigate to the hidden directory where Live is installed by default, and create a new shortcut by right-clicking on the .exe file:

C:\ProgramData\Ableton\[Live Version]\Program
