Order flagged for security check

To prevent fraudulent purchases in our webshop, our payment system reviews all order details and flags any that match certain fraud trends we've had in the past.

For example, if your billing address is different from your shipping address the order might get flagged for a security check.

We don't assume a flagged order is fraudulent but we do ask for the billing information to be verified by the purchaser.

If an order gets flagged, Ableton Support will send an email asking the purchaser to confirm the billing details. When this happens the order is placed on hold until Support receives the verification and then the order can be fulfilled.

Once the information is received the order will go into processing as normal. Any information that gets sent to us is safely encrypted in our email system and our fraud partner's system.
