Error Message: "The installation could not be completed. This Pack is corrupt"

If version of the Live Pack you're trying to install is not compatible with your Live version, you may get an error saying that the installation could not be completed, or that the pack is corrupt. 

A typical use case for this error message would be trying to install a Live 11 pack in Live 10: 

Make sure to install only Live Packs that are compatible with your Live version.

This error can also occur with specific point updates that break backwards compatibility. For example, if trying to install Live 11.1 only-updated packs (e.g. Convolution Reverb, Flexgroove, Dub Machines) in Live 11.0, you may also encounter the error. In this case, ensure to update Live to the most recent version. Please note that updating to Live 11.1 must be done manually, as it is not delivered via automatic updates.

To see all compatible Live Packs, log into your Ableton user account and select your Live license from the drop-down menu on the top right. Scroll down for a list of all available Live Packs and download them directly.
