Set plays at wrong tempo or pitch
- Live Versions: All
- Operating System: All
Live may not automatically detect the sample rate of your audio interface in certain scenarios, for example when audio is running on another application.
This can cause a Live Set to play back at a faster or slower speed, or a different pitch.
To fix this, make sure that the sample rate of your interface matches the one in Live's Preferences. We also recommend checking that your audio interface drivers are fully up-to-date.
You can find the sample rate setting in Live and your interface's driver settings:
- Live's Preferences → Audio → In/Out Sample Rate. You can relaunch Live to apply any changes.
- The interface's control panel in the 'Hardware Setup' menu of Live's Audio Preferences, or your interface's separate driver settings.
- A sample rate can selected using a switch on some audio interfaces.
