License policy for Live
A regular Live license is intended for a single user and cannot be shared.
Each license is registered to one person and covers the use of the software on two computers owned by the Live license holder, so long as both computers are not used at the same time.
Each license is granted with two authorizations allowing the use of the software on two machines, e.g. a studio desktop and a tour laptop.
A new authorization may become necessary in the event of replacing essential hardware components (motherboard, hard drive, graphic card, etc.) or after an operating system reinstallation. In such cases, you will be informed by an automated mail to your registered email address and additional authorizations can be requested from your user account. Of course you can also contact us anytime.
If you want to run Live on two or more machines simultaneously, or if your personal hardware set-up includes more than two computers, we offer special pricing on additional licenses.
In case your music collaborators or bandmates want to use Live, each band member will need their own license, which can be purchased with a discount as multiple licenses.
You can find all the details about your rights as a licensed owner of Live in our End User License Agreement.
