Uninstalling Live 1-9 completely (Mac)

  • Live Versions: All
  • Operating System: Mac

Please find instructions to uninstall the Live application completely from your computer, including Library and Pack content. For instructions to uninstall Live 8-1, please scroll down.

IMPORTANT: While Live's Core Library content and Live Packs can be downloaded and re-installed at any time, your User Library - which contains your own personal presets and files - cannot be restored once deleted, unless you have backed it up to another location. Do not delete the User Library if you have no backup of it.

Live 9

  1. Start Live, open the Preferences and go to the Library tab.
  2. Write down the paths to Installation Folder for Packs and Location of User Library.

While the rest of Live's content can be re-installed at any time, once you delete your User Library, your own presets and files will be deleted entirely and cannot be restored
