Merging Live Sets
In Ableton Live, you can merge two or more Sets by accessing Project Folders in Live's Browser. You can combine projects by bringing in specific tracks, Scenes, Clips, Devices and Grooves, or troubleshoot a problem by testing individual tracks in a new Set.
Getting started with merging Sets
- Launch Live and open or create the Set you want to merge tracks into.
- Access the source Set in Live's Browser.
- In Places, click Add Folder… and add the Project Folder of the source Set.
- Alternatively, you can use File → Save Live Set As… to save the current Set into the source Set’s Project Folder. Then select Current Project in Live's Browser to access components of the source Set.
- In Places, click Add Folder… and add the Project Folder of the source Set.
-
Open the Project Folder and click the arrow by the source Set name to unfold its contents. You can then drag elements listed below into the destination Set, depending on your Live version.
