Download the Melodics App

For how to install Melodics on your computer, visit How to create your Melodics account and download Melodics.

Connect Push with Melodics

  1. Make sure Ableton Live is not running on your computer, as this creates a conflict for Push 3's connection with the Melodics app.
  2. Connect Push 3 to your computer via USB-C.
  3. If using Push 3 (standalone), set Push to Control Live mode. In Control Live mode, Push 3 (standalone) acts as a controller for Melodics running on your computer, and standalone features are disabled. You must connect your Push to your computer via a USB-C cable to use Control Live mode.
  • Press the Setup button to access the Status tab
  • If Push is in Standalone mode, press the Control Live display button to switch to Control Mode, then open Melodics on your computer if it isn’t already open.

4. Open the Melodics app on your computer. Push 3 connects automatically to control Melodics. You should see a light display flash across the Pads of the Push to signal the connection. If Push does not automatically connect, make sure Melodics has pads selected as the instrument, and not drums or keys.

Note: It's recommended that you keep Push 3 software and firmware up to date. Learn more about updating Push 3.
