Converting 32-bit plug-ins using jBridgeM or 32 Lives (Mac)
-
Live Versions: 8.4 and later
- Operating System: Mac
As of Live 10.1, only 64-bit plug-ins are supported. If you're using 32-bit plug-ins, you'll need to convert them using a third party tool like jBridge (VST only) or 32 Lives (AU and VST).
Ideally, you should install a native 64-bit version of the plug-in if available. Converted plug-ins are not as stable as native 64-bit versions.

Note: Starting with macOS Catalina, 32-bit apps are no longer compatible with macOS.
32 Lives uses 32-bit code which is not compatible with macOS Catalina.
If you wish to continue using 32 Lives, please continue to do so on macOS Mojave.
Note: Ableton Support does not provide any technical support for issues using converted plug-ins. If you're running into issues, contact jBridge or 32 Lives support.
