Changing the buffer size/sample rate of an ASIO audio interface (Windows)

On Windows, the Buffer Size or Sample Rate in the Audio tab of Ableton Live's Preferences may appear greyed out. This usually means you need to adjust this setting in the interface's own control software.

To change the buffer size/sample rate:

• Open Live's Preferences and go to the Audio tab
• Click the 'Hardware Setup' button
• Change the Buffer Size or Sample Rate in the control panel of the audio interface itself
