System Clock Source
For Push to be recognized as an audio interface, Internal Clock must be selected as the Clock Source in your system audio settings. Do not select ADAT Sync as the Clock Source. To check this:
macOS
- Connect Push to your computer, turn Push on and select Control Live mode.
- In Finder, go to Utilities → Audio MIDI Setup → Window → Audio Devices.
- Under Clock Source, make sure Internal Clock is selected, as pictured:
- Check this setting for both Input and Output tabs. If you've previously selected ADAT In on either tab, change this to Internal Clock.
Windows
- Open Ableton Push Control Panel, on the right side of Windows taskbar.
- Check the box for Internal Clock.
