Connecting to Move Manager

Move Manager is a browser-based tool for managing your Move Sets, samples, recordings, and presets. For more information about managing content on Move directly, visit the guide Sets and Content on Move and the Move manual.

To get started with Move Manager:

  1. Connect Move to your computer using a USB-C cable, or connect Move to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. 
  2. Enter the URL http://move.local/  in your web browser and follow the on-screen prompts.

Connecting to Move Manager via Wi-Fi

  1. On Move press Shift + Step 2 to enter the Setup menu. 
  2. Make sure Move is in Standalone Mode. If Move is in Control Live Mode, use the wheel to select and click Standalone.
  3. In Setup, use the wheel to select and click Wi-Fi, then set Wi-Fi status to On.
  4. Scroll and click to select your Wi-Fi network. If your network is protected by a password, you’ll be prompted to enter it using the wheel.
  5. On your computer, connect to the same Wi-Fi network.
  6. Open a web browser (such as the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge) and enter http://move.local/.
  7. Type in the 6-digit code shown on Move’s display to access Move Manager.

Connecting to Move Manager via USB-C

  1. On Windows 10, to connect to Move Manager via USB-C, first update Move’s software to version 1.1 or higher via Wi-Fi. If you’re not able to connect Move to Wi-Fi, follow the steps in the guide Troubleshooting Move network connections.
  2. On all platforms, connect Move to your computer using the included USB-C cable.
  3. Make sure Move is in Standalone Mode. If Move is in Control Live Mode, Press Shift + Step 2 to open Setup, then use the wheel to select and click Standalone.
  4. In a web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge, enter the URL http://move.local/
  5. Type in the 6-digit code shown on Move’s display to access Move Manager.

Multiple Move devices on the same network

If you have multiple Move units on one network, each Move will show a unique address, e.g. move-2.local/. Make sure to enter the relevant address for the Move you want to connect. To display the address on Move, open Setup and select Move Manager.
