Managing Max for Live MIDI Tools Device Files
If you create your own custom Max for Live MIDI Tools, Live generates the following folders within your User Library:
- Transformations: ~/Music/Ableton/User Library/MIDI Tools/Transformations
- Generators: ~/Music/Ableton/User Library/MIDI Tools/Generators
Downloaded third-party MIDI Tools devices can also be placed within these folders. You can also manually create the folder "MIDI Tools" within your User Library to store and organize the devices.
