Max for Live not appearing in Preferences

Although the Max for Live application has been installed correctly, it doesn't show up in Live's preferences under the File/Folder tab. This happens if you are using Live Standard and purchased Max for Live as a separate add-on to your license (the Live application can't tell automatically that the Max for Live license has been added).
To resolve the issue, you will need to re-authorize Live. This is done in Live's preferences on the Licenses/Maintenance tab (either online or offline authorization will work). Find out more about how to authorize Live here.
This authorization process refreshes your license information and your Max for Live installation will then appear correctly in Live's preferences under the File/Folder tab.
