"The license to use certain protected samples is missing"

After installing a Pack, if Ableton Live displays the error message, "The license to use certain protected samples is missing," please re-authorize Live to activate the Pack.

This error can also happen if you're trying to use a Pack created for another edition of Live – for instance if you're using Live Intro and trying to install a Pack made for Suite or Standard. In this case, upgrade your Ableton Live license to use the desired Pack.
