Push 2 display issues due to USB port power saving (Windows)

Windows by default disables connected USB devices to save power. This setting can be turned off.

If the Push display does not work correctly, e.g. it will not update to reflect the Live set, power restrictions may be preventing it from working correctly.

To fix this, navigate to the Windows Device Manager, unfold the Universal Serial Bus Controllers section, and find the port to which Push 2 is connected, following these steps:

1. In Windows Device Manager, view “Devices by type," then select “Push 2 Display.”

2. With “Push 2 Display” selected, switch the view to “Devices by connection. This reveals the USB port where Push 2 is connected.

3. Right-click on the USB port and select Properties.5__1_.png

4. Navigate to the "Power Management" tab and make sure the setting "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.
